Senior Consultant
Susan Reynolds serves as a Senior Consultant in Colden’s New England office and has over 30 years of experience in health and safety, specializing in regulatory compliance, program development, auditing, workplace exposure assessments, and indoor environmental quality assessments. Her career began in the semiconductor industry and has expanded to consulting across various sectors, including manufacturing, R&D, high technology, healthcare, and energy. Susan’s audit experience includes managing international environmental, health and safety regulatory audits for a Fortune Global 500 manufacturing company. In addition, she routinely develops and implements large-scale industrial hygiene sampling plans using qualitative risk assessments to prioritize exposure risks and strategically monitor potential health impacts.
She is also an active member of several professional organizations and is a frequent presenter at regional and national health and safety conferences, such as New England American Industrial Hygiene Association (NEAIHA), National Safety Council of New England (NSCNE), the New England OSHA Roundtable, and the Semiconductor Safety and Health Association (SESHA).
Susan is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry/Biology from Springfield College and a Master of Science in Public Health – Industrial Hygiene from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst. Before joining Colden in 2018, she worked in health and safety positions at IBM, Allegro MicroSystems, and several consulting firms.
She currently serves as a member of AIHA’s Confined Spaces committee and the New England OSHA Roundtable steering committee.
In her spare time, Susan enjoys hiking with her beloved English Setter, gardening, and reading historical fiction.
