Working out of Colden’s Albany area office, Mr. Humlhanz provides qualitative and quantitative industrial hygiene (IH) assessments, general industry/construction safety compliance audits, indoor environmental quality surveys, health and safety program development/management and training.
Mr. Humlhanz has served clients in a variety of settings including heavy manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, semiconductors, biotech, aerospace, food processing/GMP, universities, large research centers, power generation utilities, hospitals, radiopharmaceuticals and paper mills.
Mr. Humlhanz received his Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety and Environmental Health from Millersville University and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). Other certifications include the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) Mold Assessor and NYSDOL Asbestos Inspector. He has completed numerous OSHA training certificates including (1910.120) 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), HAZWOPER Supervisor, and (1926) 30-hour Construction Safety. He is currently a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and the American Society of Safety Professionals.
Over the course his career, Mr. Humlhanz’s notable experience includes updating the hearing conservation program (HCP) at a 700+ acre facility with over 100 manufacturing buildings. The updates included noise mapping, development of similar exposure groups (SEGs), personal noise dosimetry and statistical analysis to determine which SEGs to include in the HCP.
