Chris Wesley has over 25 years of experience in industrial hygiene and occupational safety, with an emphasis on heavy equipment, power generation, building materials, and chemical manufacturing industries. He has extensive experience evaluating inorganic chemical manufacturing, welding, metalworking, and coating processes.
Major projects involving multiple years of work include conducting industrial hygiene surveys at a locomotive manufacturing site, managing industrial hygiene surveys for building materials manufacturing sites, preparing job safety analyses and programs, assisting a large pharmaceutical manufacturing site with EHS issues associated with facilities management, and conducting industrial hygiene and safety surveys for the specialty metals industry. Mr. Wesley has functioned as the corporate industrial hygienist for chemical companies servicing the petroleum refinery industry, treating wastes, and producing specialty chemicals including catalysts.
Mr. Wesley holds a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He maintains certification in the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene and is the past president of the Philadelphia section of the American Industrial Hygiene Association. He has served as a volunteer firefighter in his hometown for the past 20 years.
