Brian Hovendon is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with over 37 years of experience in industrial hygiene, asbestos and lead management, indoor air quality, and site-specific safety management. He has extensive asbestos and lead experience conducting surveys and assessments, abatement design and specifications, third party monitoring, and development of operations and maintenance programs.
Mr. Hovendon’s project management skills are honed by his involvement with high profile clients and projects that include buildings with up to 1.3 million square feet in size. Mr. Hovendon has managed major projects involving multiple years of work, including asbestos and lead-based paint consulting services for a large electrical distribution company throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania regions for the past 20 years, and assisting the health and safety department of an international chemical company for the last 13 years in developing and implementing yearly industrial hygiene monitoring plans for assessing employee exposures during the various stages of their manufacturing processes.
Mr. Hovendon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Franklin Pierce College. He maintains certification in the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene and is a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).
