Project Manager

As a Project Manager at Colden, Chrisy (Chantarasopak) Walsh specializes in industrial hygiene, health and safety auditing, litigation support, ergonomic evaluation, and safety program development. Chrisy also provides emergency response planning and training services, drawing on proven experience in contingency planning, all hazards preparedness and response activities, and incident management. She is well versed in occupational hazards and associated controls within numerous industries including the maritime, law enforcement, aviation, healthcare, and manufacturing fields.

Chrisy holds a Master of Science in Environmental Health from Harvard University with a concentration in occupational hygiene. Her thesis focused on evaluating and characterizing 3-D printer emissions in the workplace. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Coast Guard Academy, graduating with honors.

Chrisy served as a military officer in the United States Coast Guard for over ten years. She developed emergency plans and supervised response actions during the 2011 Mississippi River Flooding, 2012 Hurricane Isaac, and 2013 Super Bowl XLVII events. During her role as the Pollution Response Assistant Division Chief, she oversaw approximately 1,800 pollution cases annually, supervised oil spill investigations, and enforced federal and state environmental protection regulations. As a Regional Safety and Environmental Health Director, she provided environmental health, safety, emergency response, and industrial hygiene support to 138 Coast Guard facilities and 7,500+ employees across eight states. She also served as the supervising Safety Officer during the 2016 Hurricane Matthew, 2017 Sail Boston Maritime Celebration, 2017 Hurricane Harvey, and 2017 Hurricane Maria incidents.

Ms. Walsh is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and an active member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA). Prior to relocating to the Greater Philadelphia area, she served as the President and Executive Committee Advisor of the New England Section of AIHA.
